Administering oaths and affirmations

An oath is a spoken pledge, given by a person appearing before the Notary, that his/her attestation or

promise is made under an immediate sense of responsibility to a Supreme Being for the truthfulness of a

specific statement or statements, or the faithful performance of a specific duty or function.

An affirmation is a solemn declaration without oath. Whenever law requires an oath, an affirmation may

be taken instead. This accommodates persons who have conscientious objections against taking an

Taking acknowledgments

An acknowledgement is used to verify the identity of the signer and to confirm that they signed the document. They are not swearing to the truthfulness or validity of the document, they are simply acknowledging that they signed the document.  FEE – Includes notary consultation, travel to your destination, Hunterdon County $35, Somerset and Warren County $50.

Executing jurats for affidavits and other verifications

A jurat is used when the signer is swearing to the content of the document. The notary must administer an oath or affirmation to the signer in order to complete the jurat. FEE – Includes notary consultation, travel to your destination, Hunterdon County $35, Somerset and Warren County $50.

Taking proof of deeds

Deeds are legal documents used to transfer property in real estate transactions. In the most common types of deeds, the owner of a property acts as a grantor who transfers the title to their property to a grantee in exchange for money or some other form of consideration. Execute protests for non-payment or non-acceptance

A protest is a formal declaration made by the Notary on behalf of a holder of a bill or note that acceptance or payment of the bill/note has been refused. FEE – Includes notary consultation, travel to your destination, Hunterdon County $35, Somerset and Warren County $50.

Copy certification

A certified copy is an exact duplicate of an original document that has been certified by a Notary Public as being true and accurate. Certified copies are often required for legal purposes, such as when applying for a passport or filing for divorce. Loan Signing

As a loan signing agent we are explicitly trained and authorized to assist borrowers with loan and mortgage documents. In addition to notarization, an we are tasked with ensuring the documents are executed correctly and filed on time to secure the loan. FEE – $100.
